## The Cobblestone Living Story

When recalling their favorite travel memories, some people mention the food, the architecture, or meeting the locals. For Cobblestone Living’s founder, Rhonda Steger, the answer is always fashion. The dream of combining international travel with a fashion brand began on Rhonda’s first trip to France in 1990. She was drawn to the beautiful boutiques, patisseries, and flower markets that dotted the cobblestone streets of Paris. Ever since, Rhonda has felt a connection with the je ne sais quoi of casually elegant European style.

Years later, Rhonda opened a lifestyle boutique offering international wine, pastries, furniture, gifts, home accessories, and a few garments. Feeling disappointed and uninspired by the apparel on the market, she realized there was a need for a thoughtfully curated, approachable assortment of womenswear that would give women that same je ne sais quoi — an effortless approach to looking and feeling special.

In 2016, Rhonda embarked on her journey to founding Cobblestone Living. She hopped on a plane to Italy to develop the debut collection, which quickly became a mainstay in gift and apparel boutiques. From the beginning, Cobblestone’s products have been made in Italy, where Rhonda’s meticulous fabric sourcing journey began. Italian makers help the Cobblestone team craft authentic, artisanal pieces that bring European style Stateside.

At the heart of the brand lies the Romantic collection. While studying and observing styles around France and Italy, Rhonda became fascinated with the aesthetic of the Romantic Period. The collection is her modern interpretation of Romanticism — feminine and refined, with a whimsical Southern twist.

## Cassandra Silk Top

In Cobblestone’s own words: “Our iconic Cassandra Silk Top is the pièce de résistance that started it all.” The Cassandra was one of the first garments to debut in 2016, heavily inspired by Rhonda’s travels in Italy — and, as the brand notes, “to this day you’ll see team members wearing this style in and outside of the office.”

The construction is simple and intentional. A luxurious loose silk georgette overlay sits over a super comfortable viscose shell. The banded hemline adds a touch of sophistication, while the universally flattering fit makes it a wardrobe essential with everyday charm. Classic fit. One size fits most. Made in Italy.

The Cassandra is part of the mix-and-match Italian Silk assortment — pair it with the Madelyn Silk Pants for a head-to-toe elevated ensemble in coordinating colorways, or with a customer’s favorite jeans for an easy everyday moment.
