## The Compendium Story

Compendium is the inspirational book, card, journal, and gift line behind Kobi Yamada titles, ThoughtFulls Pop-Open Cards, Life Notes kits, heartfelt family books, guided journals, and message-driven greeting cards.

The retail value is simple: Compendium gives a store meaningful gifts at accessible price points. Customers buy these pieces for new babies, graduations, encouragement, sympathy, teachers, grandparents, friends, and all the moments when a regular gift feels too thin.

Crown Publishing Group announced the acquisition of Compendium on December 4, 2024. Compendium now sits within Penguin Random House as a standalone imprint under Ten Speed Press. That changed account setup and wholesale terms. It did not change the editorial voice, the core titles, or the reason stores carry the line.
