Lauryn Whitman started Sweet Tree in her kitchen in Oak Ridge, handmaking polymer clay earrings and building a line piece by piece. She now leads a team of moms in Oak Ridge doing the same thing she started with: making every pair by hand, keeping the quality consistent, and turning around custom requests fast enough that your store can have something no one else in your market carries.
