# First Implies Second

ANDMORE just renamed the “Temporaries” at Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas markets to “First Finds.” Atlanta is a few weeks out — June 9-14 — and the rebrand debuts there.

Here’s what most people will scroll past. “First” is a positional word. It implies a second. The rebrand isn’t just a new name; it’s ANDMORE quietly saying the quiet part out loud. Temporaries are the on-ramp. The permanent showrooms are the destination.

That framing works both ways. On the vendor side, new brands land in the temps, prove demand, and if they’re good, graduate to a permanent showroom. On the retailer side, new buyers walk the temps hunting for fresh lines, and as they mature, they build showroom relationships they come back to season after season.

So here’s the takeaway. A retailer who only shops temps is chasing what’s new without anchoring in what’s proven. A retailer who only shops showrooms is missing what’s around the corner. The mature buyer walks both. First Finds tells you where to start. The second stop is the showroom — and the relationships you build there are where the margins live.

See you in Atlanta.

I have been the maker, buyer, retailer, rep, and person at the register, so I evaluate every line from the store floor first.
