Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary of what we collect, what we do with it, and what we don't do with it.

Who this applies to

This Privacy Policy covers the AmyFay Chandler Wholesale platform at amyfaychandler.com/wholesale/ and any brand-specific wholesale site operated through it (including Caroline B Cook, Sweet Tree Jewelry, Southern Jubilee, and others). It's operated by Jeff Chandler LLC DBA AmyFay Chandler.

If you use AmyFay Chandler's public website, blog, or newsletter — those are covered by a separate privacy policy.

What we collect

• Business contact information you provide when you apply for a retailer account or place an order — your business name, your name, email, phone, shipping and billing addresses, resale certificate (when applicable), and any website or social links you choose to share.
• Order history — the products you've ordered, quantities, ship-to addresses, and dates.
• Login tokens — when you request a secure login link, we generate a time-limited token tied to your email. We store this token so we can verify your session.
• Basic platform usage data — pages visited, browser type, approximate location from IP. Used to keep the platform working and to catch obvious abuse.

We do not store credit card numbers. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — see Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use it

• To verify you're a legitimate retail business and approve your wholesale account.
• To process, fulfill, and ship your orders.
• To send you transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notifications, and login links you request.
• To communicate with you about your account (restocks, product availability, line updates) when you've opted in or the message is directly related to an order you've placed.
• To protect the platform from fraud and abuse.

With whom we share

We share only what's necessary to run the platform, and only with two categories of recipient:

• Platform service providers — Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), Airtable (order and account records), Resend (transactional email), Shippo (shipping rate quotes), and shipping carriers (delivery and tracking). Each handles only the data needed to do its job.
• The brand fulfilling your order — when you place an order, the brand (e.g., Caroline B Cook) receives your order details so they can pack and ship to you.

Unlike some wholesale marketplaces that sit between retailers and brands, we share your full contact information — name, email, and phone — with the brand fulfilling your order. We believe retailers and the brands they carry build stronger businesses when they can talk to each other directly: asking questions, sharing sell-through notes, planning the next order. We work in partnership with each brand; we don't stand between you and them.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketing networks or advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the information we have about your account.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your account and associated data (we'll retain order records as required for tax and accounting purposes — generally seven years).
• Stop sending you non-transactional email at any time.

Security

Login is passwordless — we send a single-use, time-limited link to the email on file for your account. This avoids the most common cause of wholesale account compromise (reused or weak passwords). The platform is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure with TLS encryption for all traffic.

If we ever experience a data incident that affects your account, we'll contact you within seventy-two hours of confirming it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll email you before the changes take effect and post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
