Officially Licensed · University of Tennessee
Sweet Tree carries the full UT brand license — one of one in the claymaker world. Handcrafted polymer clay, less than an ounce, made in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. 17% of every UT sale goes back to the university.
Why it sells through
Lauryn holds the full UT brand license — not a crafter's license. As far as we know, she's the only claymaker who does. That's a story your customers can't get from the t-shirt rack at Walmart.
Every style weighs less than an ounce. None of the 90s droopy-ear feeling. Customers stop and ask about them — then come back for the next colorway.
Your customers feel good about the purchase. That's a closing line at the register that converts.
Most retailers reorder every 30 days at $100–$250. Lauryn's team produces up to 500 pairs a week, so a quick restock isn't a question of "if."

What "officially licensed" actually means
There are two ways to make team-color jewelry. There's the crafter's license route — style-by-style submissions, capped quantities, a hobby-level setup. Then there's the full brand license, the same kind held by major apparel partners. Sweet Tree holds the full brand license for the University of Tennessee.
"I worked my booty off and sold so much that Alumni Hall — with the head honcho of the Tennessee program — gave me the license for UT. I think I'm the only claymaker that's officially licensed." — Lauryn Whitman, founder, Sweet Tree Jewelry
What that means for your store: every piece in the Tennessee collection is sold with the school's blessing, 17% of each sale goes back to UT's athletes and facilities, and your customers get a story that the unlicensed knockoffs on Etsy can't tell. That's the difference between a $24 game day earring and a $24 game day earring with a story.
And Lauryn doesn't take the license lightly:
"It's an honor to be licensed with the University of Tennessee. It's very hard to do that, and the bigger brands are usually the ones who get it. It was a wow factor that they actually had confidence in me to sell product." — Lauryn Whitman
Your rep
I'm an independent wholesale rep based in Knoxville. I rep Sweet Tree direct to retailers across the country — from Tennessee boutiques to SEC-territory stores to college-town gift shops anywhere there's a fanbase to sell to.
If you're carrying jewelry already, I can help you place an opening order, recommend a starter assortment for your customer base, and time your reorders around your school's football and basketball seasons. Custom team colors? I can quote those too — just tell me what you need and by when.
Pairs with
In college-town and Southern boutiques, Sweet Tree game day jewelry sits naturally beside three other lines I rep. Each one fills a different shelf and a different price point.
Puzzles · Gifts
Heritage Southern jigsaws — the gift item that lives on a stack table at the front of every college-town boutique. Same customer who buys SEC game day earrings buys a state map puzzle for her mother-in-law.

Towels · Home
Flour sack towels and aprons with Southern + collegiate motifs. Pairs naturally on the home table; checks the "hostess gift under $20" box right next to a $24 pair of earrings.

Books · Cards
Gift books, cards, journals. Anchors the impulse area near the register — where game day earrings also sell. Higher price point for the gift-with-purchase tier.

Retailer FAQ
$150. Reorders move quickly once you're set up — most retailers reorder every 30 days at $100–$250.
Yes — Sweet Tree carries the full University of Tennessee brand license (not a crafter's license), and 17% of every UT sale goes back to the university. Lauryn is, as far as we know, the only claymaker who holds the full UT license.
Most orders ship from Oak Ridge, Tennessee in under two weeks. Lauryn's team produces up to 500 pairs a week, so a typical reorder moves quickly. For game day, homecoming, or graduation, give us 3–4 weeks of heads-up so we can time it right.
Yes. Custom team colors are standard — booster clubs, high schools, and tourism markets order them all the time. Tell us the color combo (or send a swatch) and we'll match it. Non-UT teams aren't licensed but the same styles work in any colorway.
No — every Sweet Tree style weighs less than an ounce. Polymer clay looks substantial but doesn't pull on the ear like the 90s hoops everyone remembers from their mom's jewelry box. Customers stop and ask about them; they don't take them off.
Gold-filled posts and hardware (waterproof on the metal parts). Rubber backs — not metal — because Lauryn is sensitive to metal herself and built the line for sensitive ears. Lead-free, nickel-free, hypoallergenic.
