Quick Margin Reference
50% = 2.0× cost (keystone)
55% = 2.22× cost
57% = 2.33× cost
60% = 2.5× cost
65% = 2.86× cost
70% = 3.33× cost
Margin = profit ÷ retail. A 55% margin on $22.22 means $12.22 profit on $10.00 cost.
How It Works
Balanced Spread divides the set wholesale into three. Medium gets the average (total ÷ 3); Small gets less by half the spread, Large gets more by the same amount. They always add back to your set cost.
Custom Split lets you set exact percentages — e.g. 20 / 30 / 50 puts half the wholesale cost on the Large.
Retail = cost ÷ (1 − margin). At 55% margin, a $10 item retails for $10 ÷ 0.45 = $22.22.
