The Sweet Tree Story
Lauryn Whitman started Sweet Tree in her kitchen in Oak Ridge, handmaking polymer clay earrings and building a line piece by piece. She now leads a team of moms in Oak Ridge doing the same thing she started with: making every pair by hand, keeping the quality consistent, and turning around custom requests fast enough that your store can have something no one else in your market carries.
Here’s the thing that sets Sweet Tree apart from every other clay earring brand I’ve seen: Lauryn can match almost any color combination. Your local high school. Your town’s community college. Your store’s brand colors. School-spirit nights, homecoming, senior nights, graduation, whatever your customers care about, Lauryn can render it in clay. That means your display can feel specific to your town, not like the same jewelry rack every other store could have bought.
The other thing I tell every retailer: these are lightweight. Your customer will put them on and forget she’s wearing them. That matters for clay, the price point is impulse-buy, and the comfort keeps her coming back. She wears the Vols pair to the game on Saturday, reaches for the neutral pair on Monday, and asks you what else you have in her school colors by Friday.
The opening is $150 with a $100 reorder, but the stores that do best with Sweet Tree go deeper. A gift box-sized order gives you a real presence, and that’s when it starts to sell itself. Let me know what your customers ask for, because Lauryn can make almost anything.
The collection
Game day. Mascots. Core neutrals. Custom colors. Seasonal. The line is deeper than most retailers expect from a handmade brand, and every piece is made in Oak Ridge.
Core designs include Tennessee Bows, Checkered Studs, Power T Jersey, Smokey Bear, Gold Smokey, and T Hoops, plus dozens of core neutrals and seasonal drops that keep the display working between game days. Every shape can be rendered in virtually any color combination: your local high school, your community college, your town, your store’s brand colors. Lauryn works with you on the mix.
Why Sweet Tree earns its space
A fair question from buyers who’ve seen polymer clay earrings before: isn’t this category crowded? The retailer answer is simple: Sweet Tree gives you a lightweight, local-feeling impulse line that can be tailored to the customers in your market.
An impulse price point that moves all year. Sweet Tree retails $17.95 and up, the kind of price your customer doesn’t need permission to spend. Place these by the register, on a feature wall, or in your jewelry case and they walk out the door. The opening is $150 with a $100 reorder, which means you can carry real depth without committing to a category bet, and the 30-day reorder cadence is faster than most jewelry lines, that’s the speed of an actual sell-through pattern.
Handmade by moms in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Every pair is made by hand by a team of makers Lauryn has built in her own backyard. That’s not a marketing line, it’s the literal production model. Small-batch, quality-controlled, and easy for your staff to talk about with a customer who asks where the earrings are made.
Custom color designs available. Lauryn can make virtually any color combination, any team, any school, any market. Your local high school, your town’s community college, your own store’s brand colors. A custom design made for your store gives shoppers a reason to buy the earrings from you, not from a generic jewelry display somewhere else.
Handmade production plus custom capability plus an impulse price point, that stack is Sweet Tree. The retailer value is practical: the line gives customers a quick yes, a local-feeling reason to browse, and a reason to come back when the next school color, season, or game day story hits.

What is the wholesale opening order minimum for Sweet Tree Jewelry?
The opening order minimum for Sweet Tree Jewelry is $150, with a $100 reorder minimum and a 2-piece minimum per style. Shipping is free on orders $250 and up, $7 flat rate under that. The stores that do best go deeper than the minimum, a fuller display with enough variety across game day, core, and seasonal collections gives your customers a reason to browse and come back.
What styles does Sweet Tree Jewelry carry?

Can Sweet Tree Jewelry make custom colors for my store?
Yes, and this is one of the most powerful things about the line. Custom designs can be exclusive to your store. Reach out to me before your first order and we’ll talk through what makes sense for your specific market.

If Sweet Tree is right for your store, these probably are too
Other lines I represent that pair well with Sweet Tree:
True South Puzzles, American-made jigsaw puzzles from Nashville. Different category, same gift-store customer. Sweet Tree earrings next to True South puzzles reads as the kind of curated Tennessee-made corner that turns a browse into two sales.
ORI London, B Corp certified bags, backpacks, and accessories. The woman buying Sweet Tree earrings for game day is the woman carrying the ORI crossbody to the stadium. Same Saturday, same retailer.
erin gray design, pima cotton tees and everyday jewelry out of Atlanta. The shopper grabbing Sweet Tree game-day earrings is reaching for an erin gray design tee in her team’s colors on the same trip.
